Freak: a person who has withdrawn from normal, rational behavior and activities to pursue one interest or obsession.
Freak like many terms to me is totally subjective. But it’s through my current dealings Mr. Godiva I’ve learned that freak isn’t only in the eye of the beholder but there are also cultural differences that influence the depths of being a freak.
To me being a freak is more of an attitude or a state of mind. It’s the feeling of no sexual inhibitions, and the willingness to go beyond usual boundaries to satisfy your worthy mate. To me it’s not so much about the actual activities performed but the intent behind them.
So in my experience/culture you were considered a freak if you:
Openingly enjoyed fucking
Fucked anywhere
Participated in threesomes & swinger parties
Profession: porn star or stripper
Etc.
What I’ve discovered is when asked by Mr. Godiva what’s the freakiest thing I’ve done. It turned out that I wasn’t what he would consider to be a freak. A freak in his opinion has done the following: Golden Showers, bondage (talking dog collars and all), anal sex both ways (me & him), derogatory names while fucking (whore, bitch), and of course drinking urine. I am passing NO judgment on the things I’ve just mentioned. I love the fact that Mr. Godiva and I are at place where we can openingly discuss our fetishes.
I started this topic by mentioning my obsveration of the cultural differences of what makes a person a freak. While I would consider myself a freak because I do enjoy sex and I am very comfortable with my sexuality. I don’t see myself doing a lot of things mentioned in my previous paragraph (at least not until I am married). But I find it interesting that a few of those items are just unspoken rules to NEVER ask a black person (LOL)

Dag well I am NOT even a "freak" by YOUR definition....geesh...LOL...but yea I would agree those would be things that you wouldn't ask Black Floks...LOL
i guess he's been keeping you rather busy seeing as it's been a while since you've posted...lol...kidding
anyhoo, your breakdown of freak are interesting, but moreso the cultural differences. seeing as i've dated out of my race, i've experienced some of the same discussion. agreed, some of what you mentioned could not be discussed with another black person, well, except R.Kelly...lmao. Seriously, i've found that many blacks do in fact participate in said activities, they just deny if it comes up in conversation because they're embarassed to admit it. it's a shame too because one should not have to deny their sexuality or their preferences because others dont think it's appropriate.
forgot to add...i say to each his/her own and what you do is your business!!
T.C: It's funny, I'm guess I am not as freaky as I thought myself..LOL
Blu: Yes, I have been busy these days :). Yet there so much I need to blog about as well :)
I agree with you. Everyone should feel comfortable enough to be you and be able to talk about all the things that float your boat...
I'm very tame to. Of the things that you listed I don't plan on trying any of them.
