It's A Wrap Folks

I really didn't feel like writing this one. So I decided to record it the next day. And it goes a little something like this. Hit It!!!

The broadcast played on my Apple Safari browser.

You have the sweetest voice.

Nice that he told you in person, but true- no medals.

Sounds like a post-midlife crisis. How old is his daughter? Was she a factor in the relationship?

It's good that the man had the sense to not drag you into his world of confusion. It's even better that you knew that the relationship had a limited shelf-life. A lot of young women your age would have believed that they had found prince charming and cracked at the news...

Sounded like a win-win situation- you gave him his mojo back, and you can now say that you dated a much older man. Yes, everything is an experience. Congratulations for staying confident and true to yourself, and not getting lost in the moment.

Anonymous- Thanks for the kind words!

I really didn't have the energy to write this out. So I just retold the story as if I was talking to a friend.

Thanks for the tip on how to listen to the clip. I had no idea how to tell Blu- LOL.

His daughter is 14, so she's going through the motions as we all did. She wasn't a factor at all. I knew he's having minor issues with just having a teenage daughter (nothing alarming).

But I did look at this as what you said, an experience. At 27, there's a huge world of difference between us and it was great. But I knew things would end at some point.

It was indeed a win-win and we both left with quite an impression on one another. Now on to greater and better things...

As the saying goes..."you feel good about it... then I feel great!"

Sorry it had the end, but sounds like you got what you needed out of the experience...and that's ...lovely!

well, from the comment of the others, i gather that you and Mr. G are no longer an item.

from everything i read in the past and from these comments, you had a blast, he treated you well, and you both had a great experience.

it's over for now, but who's to say there's no chance of things resuming later on. I'm sure you're not going to sit around and wait, but you never know what the future holds.

you seem to live life to the fullest, so continue on that road and you know i'll always check in to see how you're doing.

wow. first of all, let me say that I am sorry to hear that you two are no longer an item. i know that you're not upset about it and that you're okay with how things worked out, but i do know that you were extremely excited, happy, and alive when you were with him. second of all, what a wonderfully innovative way to tell your story! thank you for sharing through voice. i liked that. thirdly, isn't it a good feeling to know that you did nothing wrong? after it's all said and done, you can safely look back and know that the break-up had nothing to do with you. that's the reward of being truthful, loving and loyal.

i wish you the best ms. lady. keep your head even higher than what it already is. ;-)
