After doing some shopping today my girl and I decided to grab something to eat. So we ate at our favorite Fridays and just as we’re paying for our meals an attractive middle aged white guy approaches our table and says to me while grabbing my hand “I just wanted to come up and see if you are that beautiful up close.” I’ll admit it what a cheesy line, but it was so refreshing to hear. There’s nothing corny about being a gentlemen. It beats "Say baby, what's your name?"
We invited him to sit with us and he ordered a beer and we had a great conversation for another hour. He has a great sense of humor and I like his appearance (that’s as deep as it goes for only knowing him an hour). We exchanged numbers and decided to go out tomorrow evening. This is my "first" white guy since moving to Dallas. While I will always be sweet on a man of color; I figure why not at least see what this guys is talking about.
After the rough encounters from my previous nights, I was beginning to wonder how one goes about meeting new people. Funny how it always seems to happen when you least expect it and when you’re not looking…

Oh wow...
Have you dated any white men before?
I have met some nice ones but I'm just not attracted to them. I don't know why...maybe for a lot of reasons.
I'm gonna be staying tuned for the details about this one.
Go ahead girl. Just make sure you give us plently of details.
Hey there. White dude, huh? You
sistas seem to be goin' that way
a lot these days. To each his
own, I guess.
I am with beauty...go for it...see what its all about...
LMBAO! I had no idea what you meant by the title of your post, but I commented on your previous one about dating outside your race. I've dated outside my race and honestly, there was a difference socially, but not necessarily in a bad way. He was extremely polite, considerate, unafraid to spend (not that that's a requirement) and was very open about doing things. If he was comfortable speaking to you and breaking the ice, I say go for it. I'll be back for details...lol
LOL I read the topic and the opening paragraph and thought this was really about chocolate.
