ReplyDeleteIt's hard to say what hurts MORE. I think they ALL hurt, probably in various ways depending on the person's tolerance. However, I also believe emotional pain has a greater effect than physical pain. The saying "time heals all wounds" doesn't always apply to emotional trauma -- sometimes it lasts a lifetime.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Single ma.
ReplyDeleteWhat hurts more? Not shaving for a month (for obvious reasons) and consequently getting pubic hairs caught in your zipper. Didn’t happen to me personally, but it did happen to a dear friend of mine. After that excruciating experience, she’s made it her business to keep her ‘temple’ trimmed. Now that’s painful.
ReplyDeleteI think getting raped hurt worst because of the physical and mental wounds that stay with you.
ReplyDeleteLoving someone more than they love you and then finding out that they cheated on you... that's some pain right there!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood points from everyone!!
ReplyDelete@Pussy, can't say I know anyone who's had that experience..LOL
I think they are all painful, but this one is a special kind of pain:
ReplyDeleteAdmitting to yourself you deserve better than what you’re receiving from people close to you.
It requires you to evaluate your closest relationships and grieve what's not there or what's been lost. It requires you to feel things you've tried to ignore, sometimes for a life time.
Unfortunatley I've experienced far too many of these on your list, but you can recover from them all. Even the one I think hurts the most.
Great post.
hehe
ReplyDeleteI followed from another blog
