There was a valid question raised by one of my favorite fellow bloggers about the topic of Ms Blonde Becky. The link to my original post and her comment are as followed:

Nice post. It’s interesting how you bring this “blond Becky” subject up. I’ve heard people talk about this before, but never was interested enough to ask. So I’m asking: What is a “Becky?” Is she all looks and no brains? Spoiled? Trophy-chick? Please elaborate.
Becky is a popular fictitious name to describe a white woman. This name can be used to describe all of your above-mentioned definition of “Becky”. My reference to her in my post was more figuratively than actually describing her characteristics i.e. “trophy”. In my experience, “ Becky” can be the dumbass hired simply because she’s blonde and cute. “Becky” will always be considered spoiled in my book because they all have a sense of entitlement (yes this is a strong accusation-yet true).
No matter what the occasion/situation “Blonde Becky” will stand out. Why do you think there are so many of them (and we know more than half of them are not natural blondes)? Being blonde has many advantages and a few disadvantages (so they say). When “Blonde Becky” (we’ll say cute) enters a room, it’s almost like a breath of fresh air to some. They look at her and figure “Becky” must be doing okay; life seems to agree with her. After all, she is “society’s” definition of beauty. Again, I am not saying these women are immune to problems and heartache (not hardly). But if I want to compete with “Becky”, I have to be on my A game at all times just to get noticed (particularly professionally). I’m not bitter or hating on “Becky”. I know the rules to game and I play very competitively…

OK, I see what you’re talking about. I think I’ve worked with a few "Becky's" before. I can’t stand their attitude…some are so condescending. Ugh--thanks for the Definition. :)
I have a "Becky" or three in some of my classes and they really irk the heck outta me. Mainly because I know I'll be competing with them for internships and jobs when we graduate. I enjoyed all your posts. I'll be adding you to my blogroll if that's ok. Take care.
Blonde Becky was in full force at the party that I attended over the weekend for a local football star. Go figure.
I've known a few Becky's in my day to include a couple black Becky's. They're a force to be reckoned with on occasion because people are caught up in the superficial. For the most part, they irk me, but I leave them to their own devices.
